Driven to see your ideas come to life?
Welcome to our exciting and technology-intensive world.
Your Role
You will join a section responsible for maintenance resources for electronics, primarily for the Gripen fighter jet, but also for other platforms. Maintenance covers most electronic equipment in the aircraft at various levels, ranging from utilizing subcontractors to troubleshooting and replacing individual components on circuit boards. This implies that maintenance resources vary in complexity. The work spans several technical areas, including analog, digital, software, microwave technology, and measurement technology.
Your tasks will include supporting our technicians by writing maintenance manuals and quality documentation for both hardware and software. You will also engage in project work involving progress tracking, scope management, and financial oversight.
The role involves providing support both internally and externally. Internally, you will support our workshops by assisting with troubleshooting complex problems and contributing to improvement initiatives. You will also provide technical support to external customers, end-users, and other Saab units in need of assistance.
Your Profile
We believe you hold an academic engineering degree or have equivalent work experience in a similar role. You may have previously worked as a quality developer, production technician, or in a comparable capacity. Furthermore, you have experience working with electronics and possess good knowledge in the field, including the ability to interpret measurement results.
To succeed in this role, you need a strong drive, a positive attitude, and a solution-oriented approach. You are a flexible and social person with a natural ability to communicate and collaborate. It is also required that you are structured and capable of documenting completed work, both for traceability linked to aviation regulations and to ensure tasks can be concluded and retrieved later. We are therefore looking for someone who enjoys structuring, analyzing, and solving technical challenges while working meticulously and methodically. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability for the role.
The position requires you to undergo and pass security clearance according to current regulations. For positions where Saab has security classification requirements, this may, where applicable, entail specific citizenship requirements.
